Lectrosonics Announces Winners of the Sound is Essential ContestLectrosonics, together with a number of dealers, industry manufacturers, and end users, has been spearheading a social media campaign for the last few weeks, Sound is Essential, to emphasize that no matter the medium, sound is critical. And today the company announces the winners of the Sound is Essential creativity contest, where users posted custom short form creative videos online in order to demonstrate how much is sacrificed by the absence of sound. Four winners have been chosen in the contest: Michael Wynn; Sound Speeds/Allen Lee Williams; Curtiss Judd and Siddharth Sadashiv. Wynn of Michael Wynn Sound has been named the 1st place winner, for his video reflecting on the variety of events which have taken place during 2020 and how sound truly played an essential part of each of them. Sound Speeds/Allen Lee Williams took the 2nd place win in the contest by showing how just essential sound is with his video that is much more important to listen to than to watch. Judd's video on YouTube tells users that nothing is wrong with the sound on their device and shows how sound is essential by what users are missing. See it here: youtu.be/yTkgQnNA2PE.
