Concert Systems Adds Adamson Monitor RigConcert Systems Production Group, located in Pensacola, Florida, recently added 28 Adamson Systems Engineering M212 stage monitors to their live event production inventory. "If you had asked me a few years ago if I would be investing in more stage monitors I would have said you were nuts," explains Randy Frierson, owner of Concert Systems. "With IEMs as the norm and two rider friendly monitor rigs already in inventory, why would I spend money on more stage monitors?" Needless to say, that is exactly what happened. Frierson found that as the company grew the demands on it grew as well. It became apparent that they needed a high-powered monitor system for larger events. "I decided that I wanted a wedge that would get loud but still be even tempered," Frierson says. "It also needed multiple angles and it would help if it looked cool." "I've been a fan of Brock's for some time and like that the company has a reputation of excellence," Frierson adds. "Plus as we grow as a provider I was interested in having another brand in our arsenal -- and what better brand than Adamson? Ultimately it was a pretty easy decision." The Adamson M212 monitor is a low profile stage monitor with precise pattern control and high output with extremely low distortion. Loaded with two 12" LF drivers and a 65 x 65 degree waveguide, it provides a high SPL with a wider dispersion area than similar sized monitors. Concert Systems power the new M212 monitor rig with Lab.gruppen FP 10000Q amplifiers with Lake processing. "Our first outing was with Hank Jr. and they were extremely impressed with monitor rig we provided," concludes Frierson. "It bodes well for a long and beneficial relationship with Adamson now and in the future."
