The Producers Group Announces Board of Advisors

The Producers Group has announced its board of advisors.

The Producers Group consists of a number of theme park veterans. Their most recent projects include The Fortune Diamond at the Galaxy Casino in Macau and the Crane Dance at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. The Crane Dance (created by Jeremy Railton and Entertainment Design Corporation) recently received a Thea Award.

The board includes: Thomas McCann, former senior vice president show ride engineering at Walt Disney Imagineering; David Snyder, former director show ride engineering at Walt Disney Imagineering; Wendy Heimann-Nunes, former senior director, business and legal affairs Universal Studios; and Don Iwerks, co-founder of Iwerks Entertainment, and 35 year Disney executive. "The success of our future relies in our understanding of the past," said Marks. "The wealth of information and experience of our board is invaluable. They are our link to the history of our industry."

"I was involved in a small way in the creation of Disneyland, Walt Disney World and later in a larger role in EPCOT," stated Iwerks. "Walt conceived what kids and adults wanted, he executed a first-class presentation, including top quality, good storytelling, cleanliness, clean design of the buildings, efficient crowd control, pre-shows to entertain the guests while waiting in line, training of the employees to treat the customers as guests, and always adding and improving upon what has been done. The leaders of The Producers Group have a real sense of respect and history for those principles and those who have gone before."
