1 SOUND Celebrates its Launch in Taiwan with a Demo Event

1 SOUND celebrated its launch in Taiwan with a demo event, organized by the company's official distributor Seapower Technology Co., Ltd. Held at the New Taipei City Government's conference room, the presentations were given by Leonardo Dani, 1 SOUND's APAC sales executive, and Seapower Technology CEO Douglas Chang.

"The audience consisted mostly of systems integrators who had nothing but positive things to say about 1 SOUND," Chang says. "Though a relatively new brand with just two years in the global market, it left a strong impression, highlighting the importance of the ongoing introduction of the brand.

"Taiwan, known as the global hub for high-tech industries with giants like Taiwan Semiconductor Company and MediaTek, represents an opportunity market for 1 SOUND," continues Chang. "Attendees, new to 1 SOUND, remarked on the exceptional sound quality and performance of the loudspeakers."

Attendees noted that two 13"-wide, 20"-tall Contour CT28 speakers could fill the entire 350-seat venue, ensuring clarity to the back with much room left for more SPL. The Contour CT28 is a compact, three-way passive loudspeaker delivering a maximum SPL of 140dB. It combines two 8" low-frequency drivers and a coaxial 4"-plus-2" mid-high compression driver in a horn-loaded point-source enclosure that delivers constant directivity 100°-by-50° coverage down to 200Hz, with a bass response down to 70Hz.

"Another attendee was blown away by each of the Cannons in the series, praising the detailed Hi-Fi sound quality that these compact speakers produced, even at high volumes, amazed to think that they are also robust enough to be in the pro audio indoor/outdoor applications," Chang says. "Compared to other top-tier brands, 1 SOUND stood out for maintaining excellent sound quality while being weather-resistant."

The entire 1 SOUND lineup features an IP55 rating, offering robust protection against the elements. Moreover, their custom-designed enclosures can be tailored to fit any project, with no minimum order requirements or long turnaround times. "Attendees made it known that they would be planning their projects such as nightclubs, live production, and more after hearing the speakers' performance for the first time," Chang says. "Needless to say, this launch event was a resounding success."
