EAW Names Ken Dewar EMEA Sales Director

EAW has named industry veteran Ken Dewar their new Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) sales director. The announcement was made by EAW vice president of sales Rusty Waite.

"Ken's professionalism and passion for the pro audio industry stood out right from our first encounter and was one of the reasons we decided to bring him on board," explains Waite. "He's already hit the ground running. Together with our solid sales, support and design team, Ken is sure to go the extra mile for our customers and partners across the region."

As EMEA sales director Dewar is tasked with increasing sales and distribution throughout the region. His focus will be on exposing customers and distributors to the variety of loudspeaker solutions EAW offers while developing effective sales strategies to encourage market growth.

"EAW's reputation for designing and manufacturing the highest quality professional loudspeakers is second to none," states Dewar. "The potential for sales growth in the EMEA territories is very exciting. We have a fantastic and innovative product roadmap -- led by the amazing Anya loudspeakers -- which we are rolling out over the next few years. Dewar brings to EAW 30 years of international sales experience gained across EMEA, APAC, and America. Prior to joining EAW Dewar held senior positions at Zildjian, Soundscape, Korg, Avid, M-Audio, and InMusic. His experience and business contacts in the region coupled with his passion for developing successful international distributor networks will be invaluable to the EAW sales and marketing team.
