RF Venue to Offer Training Sessions, New Gear at ISE 2025

Richard Stockton, RF Venue applications engineer

At the upcoming ISE 2025 convention in Barcelona, taking place Tuesday, February 4, through Friday, February 7, RF Venue will be hosting a series of educational events at its exhibition space, Stand 8A660, Hall 8.1. The sessions will be led by RF Venue applications engineer Richard Stockton and will take place 11:15am and 3:15pm CEST on February 4, 5, and 6.

The program, titled "Choosing the Correct Antenna for Wireless Success," will illustrate the antenna selection process using RF Venue's comprehensive line of wireless audio antennas. The line includes the patented cross polarized technology of the Diversity Fin, Diversity Omni and, for fixed installation, Diversity Architectural antennas, offering true A/B reception of wireless microphones from single housings for portable and fixed installation applications; the circularly polarized CP Beam and the companion fixed-installation CP Architectural antenna most often used for wireless IEMs; the extremely low-profile Spotlight floor pad antenna; and the new circularly polarized RF Venue CP Stage antenna, ideal for use both with IEM systems and, as a diversity pair, for wireless microphones. The rugged, IP-rated and economical yet high-performance CP Stage antenna, being publicly shown for the first time during ISE, delivers the benefits of circular polarization and ample antenna gain without the disadvantages of conventional helical and linear-polarized paddle antennas. With the introduction of the CP Stage, the RF Venue roster of antennas now offers an optimal, reliable solution for every application of wireless audio systems of any brand or model, portable or installed, the company says.

Stockton has 30 years of professional experience as an audio engineer and RF specialist working in event production, technical sales, customer support, and training for a host of venues, production companies, and manufacturers.

In addition, RF Venue will be exhibiting multiple products new to the ISE show floor:

The COMBINE6 HDR is RF Venue's next-generation antenna combiner for wireless in-ear monitor (IEM) system transmitters. The advanced-design HDR series delivers higher performance and more channels in less rack space for the best value in wireless audio, the company says.

The DISTRO5 HDR is billed as RF Venue's next-generation and highest-performance antenna and power distribution system for any brand or model wireless microphone system. Building on the success of the RF Venue DISTRO4, the DISTRO5 HDR uses low noise figure amplifiers and a superior gain structure to deliver high dynamic range (HDR) across the wireless microphone spectrum.

RF Venue's Spectrum Recorder is a compact and self-contained portable RF spectrum scanner that provides easy capture, storage, and retrieval of RF spectrum data for simplified monitoring and optimization of wireless microphone and in-ear monitor systems. Spectrum Recorder continuously captures RF activity in the 400-700MHz band, saving the data in its internal storage as time-stamped CSV files which can be retrieved directly via USB drive or accessed remotely over a local network.
