Acclaim Introduces New Dyna Series Indoor/Outdoor Linear LED Wall Graze And Cove Lighting

Acclaim Lighting announces the new Dyna Series of indoor/outdoor white LED wall graze and cove fixtures featuring a powerful output averaging 20W/foot and up to 50 lumens per watt.

The Dyna Series also offers other premium and innovative features that will give designers a professional edge. These include a superior even field of light and extremely smooth 100%-1% dimming (Triac or ELV) with two voltage range models, 90-135VAC or 200-300VAC.

Each Dyna Series fixture is available in a variety of color temperature options -- 2,700K, 3,000K, 3,500K, and 4,000K -- opening the way for virtually limitless applications and design possibilities. The company says interchangeable lens options on the wall graze models further expand the versatility of this exciting new series.

Ideal for façade lighting, uplighting, wall grazing and cove lighting, the Dyna Series fixtures are available in two models DynaGraze (graze) or DynaCove (cove). Each model is offered in both interior and exterior versions, the latter being rated at IP66 to withstand wind and precipitation. Housed in an attractive commercial-grade aluminum case, the rugged fixtures are built to last, indoors or out.

"In the months leading up to the series' introduction, we demonstrated the fixtures to a number of lighting designers, and they have all been impressed with the high output, even field and smooth dimming curve. In addition to its stellar performance, we developed the Dyna Series to give designers a wide range of options and flexibility, with numerous color temperature and lens options."

As another flexible option, all Dyna Series fixtures are available in one- and four-foot sections standard, which can be easily linked together to create the desired linear length. The units are linkable up to 40' with the 90-135VAC model, and up to 80' with the 200-300VAC version.

Here is a closer look at the four models in the Dyna Series:

DynaGraze Exterior -- With an IP66 rating, rugged housing and glare shield, this high-output fixturecan be used for any structure that calls for outdoor linear wall grazing. At a 4,000K color temperature, the one-foot section of the DynaGraze Exterior produces 1,142 total lumens, and the four-foot section produces 4,570 lumens. Featuring ELV or Triac dimming, the fixture is available with 10-degree, 40-degree, 10x60-degree, and 30x60-degree beam angle options. It weighs 3lb / 1.4kg (one-foot) and 12lb / 5.4kg (four-foot), and measures 2.9"W x 3.6"H x 12"'/48"L (74.1 x 91.5 x 305/1220mm).

DynaGraze Interior -- Offering 10-degree, 40-degree, 10x60-degree, and 30x60-degree beam angle options, the DynaGraze Interior can be used for virtually any interior wall grazing and uplighting application. It provides smooth linear dimming with ELV modules, and 100%-1% with most Triac dimmers. The one-foot section produces 949 total lumens, and the four-foot section produces 3,796 lumens at 3,500K. The DynaGraze Interior weighs 1.8lb / 0.8kg (one-foot), and 7.1lb / 3.2kg (four-foot), and measures 2"W x 3.1"H x 12"/48"L (52x58x 305/1,220mm).

DynaCove Exterior -- Rated at IP66 and equipped with a glare shield, the DynaCove Exterior is ideal for outdoor cove, millwork, or signage applications. Featuring a 120-degree beam angle and smooth ELV dimming, it produces 1,002 total lumens (one-foot), and 4,010 lumens (four-foot) at 4,000K. The one-foot section weighs 3lb (1.4kg), and the four-foot section weighs 12lb (5.4kg). Dimensions are 2.9"W x 3.6"H x 12"'/48"L (74.1 x 91.5 x 305/1220mm).

DynaCove Interior -- This indoor linear cove fixture features a 120-degree beam angle and smooth dimming with ELV modules and 100%-1% with most Triac dimmers. It produces 939 total lumens (one-foot), and 3,756 lumens (four-foot) at 3,500K. It weighs 1.8lb /0.8kg (one-foot), and 7.1lb /3.2kg (four-foot), and measures 2"W x 2.9"H x 12"/48" (52 x 74 x 305/1220mm).

Also launching at Lightfair 2013, exhibiting in booth 4116, will be two brand-new additions to the Dyna Series -- Dyna Flood HO and Dyna Flood SO -- both with features common to the linear Dyna series but in flood light format.

Extremely energy-efficient, all Dyna Series fixtures consume just 20W (one-foot) / 80W (four-foot). The units' operating voltage is 90-135V/200-305V, and they include three-pin male and female molded link cable/connectors for interior and IP67 cable/connectors for the exterior models. All of the Dyna Series fixtures are CE and cETLus approved and come with a five year limited product warranty.
