PLASA Returns with IET Wiring Regulations Training As part of PLASA's Professional Development Training, chartered engineering consultant James Eade will host a one-day seminar and workshop on Electrical Safety Management, March 26, at ETC Ltd. in London. The workshop will focus on the 18th edition IET Wiring Regulations which came into force on January 1, 2019, critical for those who manufacture and hire equipment, own a venue, or are end-users. Eade says, "I'm delighted to host this workshop with PLASA to help attendees understand their overarching requirements for managing electrical safety in the workplace. Many are becoming familiar with the temporary power standard BS 7909, but that is one of several standards that fit into a bigger picture surrounding legal requirements of electrical safety management, from workbenches in a factory to temporary systems erected on site. In the workshop we'll also cover the salient changes to the IET Wiring Regulations and their practical application." This event is part of a collection of seminars and workshops from PLASA, which cover subjects such as sales, branding, health and safety, and technical updates.
