Hammond will be offering tips on creating more immersive color environments in a WFX learning sessions sponsored by Chauvet Professional. The 45-minute session, "Color Immersion Beyond The Stage," takes place pace on Thursday, October 12 from 8:30 - 9:15am in room C-145 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas as part of the WFX Conference and Expo. Drawing on examples of churches he's worked with, Hammond will cover a range of topics, including LED color mixing techniques, the emotional power of different colors, cost-effective ways to colorize areas beyond the stage, and the keys to creating a unified design that balances stage and house lighting. Prior to joining Stark Raving Solutions, Hammond was the technical director of the 9,000-member Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. He is the author of numerous papers and articles on lighting and scenic design.
