AXYS to Launch Latest Version of iOS App at Prolight + Sound

	Duran Audio's iOS Control app

Duran Audio will launch the new version of its iOS Control app, version 2.0, at Prolight + Sound 2013, in Frankfurt, Germany, running April 10-13.

The Control app has been designed primarily for users of Duran Audio's sound reinforcement range of loudspeakers: AXYS Flex, Scope, Source, Target, and Beam shaping subwoofers. The app connects to the loudspeakers using a wi-fi to RS485 convertor and the new version supports multiple controllers.

In a live environment the Control app offers engineers and sound designers an easy to use and intuitive interface to access the wide variety of features available thanks to the loudspeakers on board DSP. Users can gain full access to the on board eight band parametric EQ, delay, and volume settings. In addition to this they can also switch between crossover settings and recall one of the eight on board pre-sets.

Version 2.0 of the app sees the introduction of a wealth of new features, including:
• The user can now create groups of units
• A new XML based project file stores settings
• Ability to reset the volume, delay, and EQ of all units

Although the Control app is aimed primarily at the entertainment industry it does support all AXYS by Duran Audio products, including the company's Intellivox range.
