Behringer Unveils Versatile B207MP3 Speaker SystemBehringer has unveiled its new EUROLIVE B207MP3, a multi-purpose, 150W, active loudspeaker designed for vocal and/or keyboard monitoring, multimedia, press conferences, and other applications where space is at a premium. Based on the company's B205D, the company says the B207MP3 takes high-efficiency loudspeaker design to an entirely new level, one that is as feature-rich as it is versatile. The B207MP3 is unique among small, portable speakers thanks to its built-in high-performance MP3 player for playing audio files from a USB stick, three-band EQ, and built-in four-channel mixer that accepts XLR, TRS, and RCA inputs. Phantom power is provided for condenser microphones and one input allows connecting a Hi-Z instrument without the need for an external DI. There is also a dedicated stereo input for keyboards, MP3, CD, or other sources. The B207MP3 is compact and light enough to be mounted on a mic stand, while the 6.5" premium-quality, full-range driver provides heavy-duty sonic performance. A revolutionary Class-D amplifier and internal switch-mode power supply pumps out 150W, and additional active loudspeakers can be linked via a convenient thru socket, making the B207MP3 flexible for use as a main system in more intimate venues. The lightweight Behringer B207MP3 is housed in a super-tough, impact-resistant enclosure with an integrated top-carrying handle, making it supremely portable for on-the-go performers and public speakers. The EUROLIVE B207MP3 will arrive at US retailers in second quarter and is covered by Behringer's three-year warranty program.
