Shure Names S.K. Macdonald Rep of the Year Shure Incorporated has named S.K. Macdonald as the Company's Representative of the Year for Fiscal Year 2010/2011. President Perry D'Angelo received the award at the recent InfoComm Show in Orlando, Florida. "The selection process was difficult this year," said Jim Schanz, Shure's director of U.S. and Canada field sales. "S. K. Macdonald made significant reinvestments in the company that helped it continue to offer best-in-class dealer support and drive the Shure brand to new levels in its territory." "Being named Shure's Rep of the Year means more than anything else in this industry," said D'Angelo. "If there's an award to win, this is it. Shure commits broader and deeper resources to supporting its field sales force than any other company I know of, and we're proud to be an extension of the Shure brand." "S.K. Macdonald continues to build on its 78-year legacy as a Shure representative with a progressive go-to-market strategy," added Schanz. "They provide superior customer service, they are technically savvy, they treat others with respect, and of course, they exceed their quota." S.K. Macdonald was founded by Samuel K. Macdonald in 1926, and has represented Shure in the Mid-Atlantic region since 1933. The company maintains offices in Reisterstown, Maryland, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
