NAMM Preview for Dante-Enabled BlackBox Recorder from JoeCo

At the NAMM Show in Anaheim, the UK-based company JoeCo Limited previewed a version of the upcoming Dante-enabled BlackBox recorder, which is due for release in the coming months. A BlackBox player was used to feed a BlackBox recorder linked up with a Yamaha LS9 incorporating the MY16-AUD Dante card. This latest variant of the award-winning 24-track live recorder follows an earlier announcement of the collaboration between JoeCo and Dante's developer, Audinate, which will see Dante technology incorporated, under license, into a range of BlackBox Recorder products.

The move comes as JoeCo extends its customer base from the live performance market into broadcast, film, and TV, as well as other areas of audio acquisition. JoeCo's Joe Bull commented, "We are delighted to have this latest prototype ready for preview at one of the industry's leading international events.
