Changes Announced to MA Lighting Technology Management Team

MA Lighting Technology announces key developments in its leadership structure. Effective March 1, Stephanie Waldorf and Rene Berhorst have been appointed as managing directors of MA Lighting Technology. Waldorf has been with MA Lighting Technology for six years, most recently serving as team leader for finance, HR, and administration. Berhorst has previously been with MA Lighting International for more than 16 years; previously head of product management, he was moved to MA Lighting Technology in 2022 in the role of intellectual property manager.

After 15 years as head of software development and since 2012 as managing director, Gerhard Krude transitioned to a consultant role in January. Krude will support MA Lighting Technology in this advisory capacity for the next two years. The company says in a statement, "Gerhard has played an important role in the success of MA Lighting, and we are deeply grateful for his dedication. His advisory role will ensure continuity and provide valuable guidance during this period of transition."

Waldorf and Berhorst will join Alexander Schneider as managing directors for the company. Waldorf will be responsible for HR, finance, and digitalization. Berhorst focus on R&D and IP rights. Schneider will take the role of speaker of the management; he continues to focus on manufacturing, service, and purchasing; he will also consider strategic companywide issues.
