AV Stumpfl to Continue 50th Anniversary Celebrations at 30th Prolight+Sound

Visit AV Stumpfl at Prolight+Sound 2025, Stand #C83 in Hall 12.0.

AV Stumpfl will showcase PIXERA zero, the smallest member of its award-winning PIXERA ecosystem, at Prolight+Sound 2025 in Frankfurt. The compact media server platform, which launched at ISE in February, will make its trade show debut in the DACH region at PL+S, which marks its 30th year at Messe Frankfurt from April 8-11, 2025.

On Stand #C83 in Hall 12.0, the AV Stumpfl team will be on hand to demonstrate the PIXERA zero, as well as to toast 50 years since the company's founding in Upper Austria in 1975.

Designed for digital signage and multi-display applications, the PIXERA zero media server combines a powerful hardware configuration with a space-saving design. Available in three models -- PXZ-0, PXZ-2, and PXZ-4 -- PIXERA zero provides up to four 4K video outputs, all within a 210mm-by-265mm-by-89.3mm form factor.

Equipped with an Intel Xeon processor (six cores, 12 threads, up to 5.0GHz) and 32GB of RAM, PIXERA zero ensures seamless playback of uncompressed 4K content. Its NVMe storage technology supports a constant read rate of up to 5GB/s, ensuring high-speed data transfer and reliable performance, making PIXERA zero an ideal choice for both fixed installations and live events, the company says.

The PIXERA zero media server is said to offer uncompromised video playback, with licensed video outputs supporting resolutions up to 4,096px - 2,160px at 60Hz. Compact and durable, the unit weighs just 3.72kg, making it easy to integrate into diverse set-ups while ensuring reliability in demanding conditions. Additionally, its power-efficient design -- with peak power consumption of just 300W -- ensures optimal energy use for sustainable deployments, the company says.

PIXERA zero also comes with a PIXERA Server software licence.

Visitors to Hall 12.0 can also experience a one-of-a-kind AV Stumpfl AnyShape projection screen with a Contrast PRO surface.

AV Stumpfl's AnyShape technology allows for the production of mobile projection screens with non-standard frame shapes -- for example, circular screens, or those with rounded edges -- straight from the factory. By unshackling designers and AV professionals from the limitations imposed by traditional rectangular designs, AnyShape revolutionises what is possible when it comes to projection surfaces. The potential of AnyShape will be on full display at Prolight+Sound, where AV Stumpfl will present a specially designed AnyShape screen in a unique shape that complements the booth design, the company says.

To experience PIXERA zero and AnyShape for yourself, visit AV Stumpfl in Hall 12.0 on Stand C83.
