AES Campaign Wins 2024 MUSE Creative Award

The Audio Engineering Society (AES) announces that the creative content produced for the 2023 AES Convention in New York City earned a 2024 MUSE Creative Silver Award in the Social Media - Event/Live Event category.

The award was presented to MCI USA, which worked on behalf of and in cooperation with AES's volunteer leadership to create and launch a compelling social media campaign to generate excitement for the Convention.

The social media campaign showcased branding that encapsulated the mission and spirit of AES, the expertise of its membership, and the NY show's role as the premiere annual convention for the audio industry. The campaign promoted and emphasized the Convention's commemoration of both the organization's 75th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. The outcome was a striking collection of graphics that inspired members and attendees, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.

"Our team did an outstanding job translating the excitement of the New York Convention into a visual design that gave our members and exhibition attendees a hint of what they would experience at our flagship event and 75th anniversary celebration," states AES president Leslie Gaston-Bird. "From Facebook to Instagram to mobile-ready content -- not to mention the stylish merch -- this team's creativity was on show and was the cornerstone of a fabulous convention."

Hosted by the International Awards Associate (IAA), the MUSE Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals who inspire others to greater heights.

The MCI USA creative team behind this year's winning social campaign on behalf of AES consisted of Kelsy McCarthy, associate vice president, design services; Aubrey Dockery, graphic designer; and Kelly Reynolds, director of marketing. It was one of seven MUSE awards won by the MCI USA team, which provides AES and other associations with marketing and communications content and design services along with event and other management services.
