Arts United Uses Spotlight LED GreenLine in New VenueArts United in Fort Wayne, Indiana is an organization deeply passionate about the arts and culture in Northeast Indiana. The new ArtsLab Black Box Theatre at the Auer Center is designed to host performances for intimate audiences of 50 to 175 people and can accommodate a variety of seating, staging, and lighting configurations. Spotlight America's Spotlight FresneLEDs 250 and ProfiLEDs 150, from the LED GreenLine family, have been included as part of the permanent installation. During the formal dedication of ArtsLab with a gala opening on January 17, Miriam Morgan, technical director of the venue says, "Arts United is so thrilled to utilize Spotlight fixtures in our new black box theatre. When selecting fixtures, I took great care in researching and comparing various industry offerings for output, versatility, ease of use, and flexibility. As a local lighting designer, I had a very intimate understanding of not only what styles and types of lighting appealed to local designers and audiences but a keen awareness of the need for venue adaptability, often on a short timeline. Spotlight fixtures are a fantastic, necessary solution for our new theatre, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service Spotlight America and Yvonne Mateer provided us during the specification and installation process." The partnership with the Auer Center for Arts & Culture is projected to continue the forward momentum of the arts as a major part of Greater Fort Wayne's vibrancy, quality of life, and economic development.
