Me & My Zero 88 -- The Winner

College student Alex Brown was announced at the recent PLASA show as the lucky winner of the 40th year celebration competition from Zero 88.

"We are delighted for Alex" said Zero 88 general manager David Catterall. "We ran the competition using social media asking Zero 88 followers and users to mail in a picture of them showing their association with Zero 88 past or present under the title 'Me and My Zero 88.' Alex was the lucky winner from amongst hundreds of entries from all around the world and chose a new Solution lighting desk as his prize."

Alex enthused: "I am planning to continue my lighting career with amateur shows and lighting at my local church so the Solution with it's multipurpose features will be a great asset to me -- giving me a head start to becoming a professional lighting operator."

Catterall concluded: "The competition also yielded a complete cross section of Zero 88 equipment in use -- some of it more than 25 years old and still operating. This was a great way for us to share our birthday celebrations with the wider Zero 88 community to include those who weren't able to join us for cakes and fizz on our PLASA stand."
