AES Sets Dates and Locations for 2025 Conventions and Conferences

The Audio Engineering Society announces the dates and locations for its premier 2025 AES conventions and conferences in the US, Europe, and Latin America to showcase the newest in audio technologies, techniques, and research from around the world.

For the first time since 2016, the US-based AES Show is heading west in the new year, anchoring in Long Beach, California, from Thursday, October 23, through Saturday, October 25. The Exhibit Hall will be open October 23 - 24, with educational content and sessions running all three days.

"The annual flagship event of the Audio Engineering Society, AES Show 2025 will unite thousands of professionals, enthusiasts, and exhibitors from across the globe in a celebration of audio innovation," the company says. "The show will feature prominent manufacturers showcasing cutting-edge solutions, engineers demonstrating the latest products, and a diverse range of workshops, panels, demos, and training sessions tailored to both researchers and practitioners."

For the first time, the AES European convention will be in Warsaw, Poland, opening on Thursday, May 22, and running through Saturday, May 24. The Warsaw event will build on last year's AES European convention in Madrid, where 170 world-leading audio practitioners, researchers, and technology specialists delivered presentations to nearly 400 attendees (including 102 students).

The 2025 AES Latin American convention is scheduled to take place in Mexico City, Mexico, from August 15 through August 17. AES LAC 2025 will give audio professionals and students in the region the opportunity to network and share the latest techniques and knowledge about the audio field.

In addition to the conventions, the following conferences have been announced: the AES International Conference on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in San Diego, California, April 3 - 5; the AES International Conference on Headphone Technology in Espoo, Finland, August 27 - 29; and the AES International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Audio in London, UK, September 8 - 10.
