Walgreens Managers Meeting Returns to Las Vegas with Lighting from 4Wall After a four-year absence, the Walgreens Manager's Meeting made a return to Las Vegas with staging services by Show Department Inc. and lighting design by Olivier Ilisca of CSP. Show Department and Ilisca in turn chose 4Wall Las Vegas to provide both lighting and rigging equipment for the event, held at the MGM Grand Arena. "Bob Gaynor and the team at 4Wall provided outstanding gear and support," said Ilisca. Walgreens tasked Ilisca with designing an enormous lighting rig. The main focus of the design was a large center circle truss that featured a multitude of spokes running into the audience. In addition to this large overhead rig, it was also decided the show should have a "ceiling". Five large sails were custom built and hung above the upstage portion of the arena to accomplish this. Martin LC series panels were used among the three main videos screens to create a random and animated background for the video content. The truss spokes featured over 80 Chroma-Q Color Force LED battens. "Having the Color Force LEDs lining the truss was spectacular. Pixel mapping was a breeze and we were able to make the effects grandiose while keeping the programming simple," said Ilisca. Chad Lussier and Patrick Mucha served as programmers for the show; Scott Roper was the master electrician.
