Claypaky to Debut New Products at LDI Claypaky will roll out a number of new products at LDI, at the Las Vegas Convention Center December 8 - 10. Making its world premiere, Ultimo Hybrid combines a high IP66 rating and extended lamp life in a compact, lightweight fixture packed. Offering impressive brightness, a wide zoom range, and a versatile effects engine, the company says it allows lighting designers to push creative boundaries and craft remarkable visual experiences. Powered by an advanced 550W short-arc lamp, Ultimo Hybrid offers a 19,000-lumen output and a lifespan of up to 4,000 hours, making it a suitable solution for low-maintenance applications. Its motorized linear zoom smoothly delivers precise coverage in both projection modes, the company says, from tightly focused beams to evenly collimated spots. Despite its compact size, the fixture features 6.3" front lens and high-quality optics, "ensuring sharp images and collimated beams without compromise." Ultimo Hybrid also incorporates an advanced four-focal plane shutter system, a complete color mixing system, a rich package of gobos and effects, and the Absolute Position Innovation, a proprietary system that remembers the fixture's exact position in real-time without requiring a reset, even after power interruptions. Several products will be seen for the first time at LDI: Tambora Rays is billed as the perfect blend of volumetric effects and single-pixel mapping for unparalleled performance: the nine-by-three rows of high-power RGBWW LEDs are designed to inspire creativity. With pixel-to-pixel control, a total of 27 single LEDs can be managed for enormous creative potential and stunning lighting effects, the company says. Tambora Stormy is a pixel-mappable strobe light designed for powerful and versatile applications. Mini-B Sparky Aqua is an IP66-rated fixture featuring high-output RGBW SMD LEDs, arranged in ten individually controllable concentric circles; the company says it not only delivers intense colors but ensures even light distribution across a wide 120-degree flood and extreme strobe effects. Volero Cube, a multi-function, multi-effect moving head, is a four-in-one fusion fixture boasting four 60W RGBW LEDs and plus-shaped cool white LED strips for strobes that can be pixel-to-pixel-controlled, allowing for blending different levels of effects. Orkis Cyc is a cyclorama light from ADB by Claypaky. Billed as a game-changer, it combines the best of both worlds: theatrical color perfection with FLOW Active Liquid Cooling Technology. Built on multispectral six-color HCR LED technology, the unit offers a wide selection of colors and precise dimming capabilities. Also to be shown: HY B-Eye K15 Aqua is the newest addition to the IP66 Shield family. It guarantees true IP66 protection and has undergone rigorous testing to withstand transportation vibration, shock, extreme temperature fluctuations, hailstone impacts, electrical stress, harsh environments, UV exposure, and more. Tambora Flash is a hybrid fixture that can act simultaneously as a strobe, wash, and blinder, specifically designed with a modular approach for use in a linear array. Arolla Aqua represents Claypaky's latest top-of-the-line weather-resistant light, a versatile workhorse IP66 fixture with, the company says, technical and construction features previously unimaginable for this type of light. Midi-B FX is a versatile moving head wash light that also serves as a visual effects tool. It combines RGBW lighting with a unique top hat design featuring five LED rings, each independently controlled for a wide range of colors. You can see the products at the Claypaky Booth, #2823, on the LDI show floor.
