LMG Celebrates 35th Anniversary With UCF Endowment & Partnership

LMG, a national provider of entertainment technology, celebrates its 35th anniversary with the announcement of the LMG Entertainment Technology Endowment for the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management. This endowment will provide ongoing funding for an annual scholarship to students majoring in entertainment management.

"We have been a big supporter of the educational community in our areas and are very excited to create this scholarship fund to help students who want to pursue a career in entertainment management," states Les Goldberg, CEO and founder of LMG.

Goldberg can relate to the aspirations of college students, as he founded LMG at the age of 17 while still in school pursuing his degree. "I was very fortunate to have an opportunity to explore a career I was passionate about. My hope is that this scholarship will allow others the opportunity I had to follow my dreams."

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in LMG's professional internship program. Interns will gain practical, hands-on experience working in the entertainment technology industry and will be able to attend structured, classroom training.

"We are excited for LMG to invest in our students," says Dr. Youcheng Wang, dean at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at University of Central Florida. "This endowment and the internship opportunities they are providing will provide unmatched experience and create a foundation these students can build on for the rest of their lives."

"The LMG team includes some of the top talent in entertainment technology and we are very proud to see that team reinvest in our communities to help promote the industry that we have dedicated our careers to," says David John, chief operating officer for LMG's parent company, Entertainment Technology Partners. "Students at the Rosen College are some of the brightest and most ambitious we have worked with and will certainly be welcome additions to this industry."
