2020 F4 US Championship Powered by Honda Rookie Driver Jeremy Fairbairn Announces New Marketing Partners

Jeremy Fairbairn and his Primus Racing team

Hailing from Florida, Jeremy Fairbairn began his racing career at seven, racing karts competitively on the national circuit, eventually winning the coveted SuperNats title in Las Vegas in 2018. In 2019, Fairbairn made the decision to escalate from karts to Formula 4 racing cars.

Beginning testing in October of 2019, Fairbairn showed great pace on every track, enough so that the decision was made to join the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda with Primus Racing, a leading team from his home state of Florida. Team boss, Jon Baytos and his impressive young team of operators convinced Fairbairn and his father from the very first test, they would make a great home for the upstart open-wheel driver to begin his career in Formula racing.

To help make it a reality, the 15-year-old driver has secured two marketing partners, GearSource.com, and their primary sponsor for 2020, who is not just any partner, but a company who, at their very core, have racing in their DNA. Ayrton Lighting was founded in Europe by a self-proclaimed racing junkie, Yvan Peard, who named the company after the greatest driver ever to live, Ayrton Senna. Since that time, Ayrton has risen to become a leading, global brand in digital entertainment lighting technology. Ayrton's passion for power and performance perfectly matches Fairbairn's aggressive and quick brand of racing and he's quite excited to perform for his new friends at Ayrton and live up to that iconic name. Ayrton jumped at the opportunity to partner with the speedy Floridian driver. Linking together for the complete 2020 season, Ayrton Lighting will be the primary partner on the Ayrton / Primus Racing #87 Ligier JS car.

Alongside their industry leading North American partner, ACT Lighting, Ayrton will be supporting Fairbairn's success this year while also providing both ACT Lighting and Ayrton with some excitement all season, through to the final F4 race alongside the driver's Formula 1 mentors at Circuit Of The Americas (COTA) in October.

"We are extremely excited to support Jeremy Fairbairn, who is clearly an incredibly talented young driver," explained Ayrton CEO, Chris Ferrante. "The partnership is a natural fit, particularly given the passion Ayrton has for engineering, performance, and the pursuit of perfection and Jeremy's insatiable desire to win!"

"I am very grateful to Ayrton Lighting, Primus Racing Team, and my family for making this entire process possible," added Jeremy Fairbairn. "I really love to drive, and I've been quite successful in all recent tests and practice races. I look forward to continuing that success through the start of the championship series in April." You can follow Fairbairn on www.Facebook.com/jeremyfairbairn87 or www.instagram.com/jeremy.fairbairn. His website, where you will also be able to order Jeremy / Ayrton swag is being developed now and will soon be launched at www.JeremyFairbairn.com.

Competing recently at the YACademy F4 Winter Series Presented by Hankook, Fairbairn was the driver to beat, sweeping all three wheel-to-wheel races at the Palm Beach International Raceway, including the inverted grid second race where he was forced to start from last. As the series moved to Homestead, the Ayrton / Primus car piloted by Fairbairn scored pole position in qualifying, however, Fairbairn was only able to secure a Vice-Championship in the six race series due to mechanical issues. In the end, the test series helped to assure Fairbairn and his team even more that he has the ability to advance his skills quickly and race up front when things get "real" in April.

With the first event of the F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda a month away, Ayrton Lighting / Primus Racing driver Jeremy Fairbairn is looking forward to the trip to Braselton, Georgia and his debut at Road Atlanta and in the national acclaimed program.
