Out Board Brings TiMax Back to PLASA for 2017At this year's PLASA Show 2017 at London Olympia, September 17 - 19, 2017, Out Board will present all three of its premium entertainment technology offerings in booth S61 -- across three stands. Visitors to the show will also be able to experience TiMax spatial audio in the TiMax Immersion Zone, where TiMax SoundHub will tell visitors about its evolutionary object-based spatial reinforcement techniques for live vocal, instrument imaging, and immersive audio. Attendees will hear examples of object-rendered vocal imaging and multi-dimensional dynamic sound effects and music beds. TiMax SoundHub VR playback, spatial audio, and showcontrol variant, which made its European debut earlier in the year, will be showcased at the Out Board TiMax stand (S61 on the balcony). This new product marks Out Board's move to support rapidly growing demand for tightly-synchronized, low-latency immersive audio in multimedia VR content for the theme-park ride-car and experiential-exhibit marketplaces. Out Board's Dave Haydon and Robin Whittaker will also preview the intuitive and dimensionally-aware new StageSpace visual programming interface for TiMax. This fully-editable adaptive spatial audio rendering resource automatically configures delay-matrix localisation objects for the evolutionary TiMax SoundHub spatial audio processor and TiMax Tracker stage tracking automation. Rapidly becoming a staple for busy professional riggers, Out Board's much in-demand RCX SMART Remote for LV and DV Motor Controllers will be showcased in 16, 32, and 64 versions on the stand of A.C. Entertainment Technologies (E30). The elegantly simple RCX can be retrofitted to all existing LV and DV controllers and features Ethercon interconnect, non-volatile group memories, and integral load cell system monitoring. Out Board's PAT and Cable test joint-venture associates Data Strategy will be on the stand of SES Entertainment Services (K10) to demonstrate the PAT4 Test Processors, CAB5 Cable Test, and RCDT Test modules with their QC-Check PAT automation and logging software, which is rapidly being adopted by an increasing number of premier production rental companies and venues of all sizes.
