Lighthouse LED Video Teams with Laredo LemursA Lighthouse 20mm outfield LED video screen has completed its inaugural season at Uni-Trade Stadium, new home of the Laredo Lemurs in Laredo, Texas. The main Lighthouse video screen, integrated by Lighthouse partner TS Sports, is built from 70 individual 20mm LED video panels, and measures 42' wide by 22' high. The LED video screen entertains Lemurs fans with custom video, Lemurs replays and player introductions, sponsor messages, and colorful animations. "Lighthouse is proud to contribute to minor league baseball and Laredo's beautiful new stadium," says Ed Whitaker, Lighthouse Jumbovision N.A.S.A. director of sales. "We're excited that we've become an integral part of the baseball experience." Uni-Trade Stadium is an $18 million state-of-the-art multi-use stadium located adjacent to the Laredo Energy Arena on Sinatra Drive in Laredo, Texas. The stadium's architect and design team is Dallas-based HKS. HKS was the architect of record for the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. The capacity for Lemurs baseball games is 6,000 and capacity for concerts is 16,000. Stadium amenities include a built-in concert stage above the centerfield wall, nine luxury suites, grass berms, the Lighthouse LED video board, three private picnic areas, three private party areas, and a Stadium Club located on the suite level. Over 215,000 individual LED video pixels make up nearly 1,000 sq. ft. of the main LED video display at Uni-Trade Stadium. The Lighthouse Pi20 20mm LED video panels will light up Laredo's nighttime skies, and keep Lemurs fans involved in the game. Lighthouse's 20mm main screen will provide real-time statistics, sponsor messages, and crowd-wowing animations, all part of the major league experience Lighthouse delivers to minor league stadiums all over the country. "Working with TS Sports on Uni-Trade Stadium," Whitaker adds, "is another example of Lighthouse's dedication to being a part of high-quality venues and sports of all levels. We're looking forward to entertaining Laredo fans during Uni-Trade Stadium's inaugural season."
