IMAGE SFX Acquires Stage & Effects EngineeringImage Engineering Specials Effects (IMAGE SFX) announces they will purchase Albuquerque, NM based Stage & Effects Engineering. Stage & Effects Engineering (SEE) designs and provides custom special effects for the touring, film/TV, and live performance markets. SEE was created in 1998 by "Pyro" Pete Cappadocia, David Greene and Elia Popov, a visionary in automated fire effects and custom flame effects for close proximity use in live performances. SEE has gone on to provide some of the most innovative fire effects ever seen in the live entertainment industry. Past and current clients include KISS, Guns and Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Criss Angel, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and many others. As part of the transaction, Pete Cappadocia will join the Image SFX team and work out of the Las Vegas office. Doug Adams, creative designer, says, "We are very excited to have Pyro Pete join us here at IMAGE SFX, and the acquisition of Stage & Effects Engineering will allow us to continue our vision of providing the best and most innovative special effects to our clients." In addition to managing the touring business, Cappadocia and Adams will work together to conceive new designs in flame and pyrotechnic technology.
