Robe Hiring for Key Positions to Support US GrowthWith record sales figures for 2013 and exciting new products launching in 2014, Robe Lighting is investing in more resources: people. The Czech Republic-based moving light manufacturer is hiring in the USA and strengthening its dealer network to support the growth. CEO of Robe Lighting Inc. Bob Schacherl, who joined the company in November 2013 to oversee the US operation, is looking for three regional sales managers and a customer service manager to help support the demand for products in the US. "2013 was a record sales year for the company as a whole and culminated with unquestionably the most successful LDI trade show ever for Robe Lighting Inc.," he said. "While we have always had market segment managers in place driving business through lighting designers and key decision makers, we've recently identified the need to add personnel based in the field who will manage and support our authorized dealers located within four newly defined territories." "The Northeast territory is already covered and being managed by Kevin Loretto, who is based out of New York. We are now recruiting for regional sales managers for three other territories: the western, central, and southeastern US." Schacherl also plans to strengthen the US dealer network. "We are evaluating our complete dealer network. In most key metropolitan areas we have strong companies already proactively promoting the Robe brand. We will now begin targeting selected cities where we will seek to develop dedicated partnerships," he said. Robe is also hiring a manager for its customer service department at the Cooper City (Fort Lauderdale), Florida headquarters. Chief financial officer and COO Lorienn Cochenour said, "We are excited about this time of growth and are positioning ourselves to offer the best support possible to our current and future customers." Schacherl concluded by stating, "We are very enthused about the new products debuting at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt next month.
