ADJ Prepares To Light Up Bar & Restaurant Expo Kicking off a series of Spring trade shows, the ADJ USA sales team will be exhibiting at the 2022 Bar & Restaurant Expo (formerly known as the Nightclub & Bar Show) in March. Taking place in Las Vegas, the show is set to welcome thousands of hospitality industry professionals from across the United States. ADJ will use the exhibition to showcase its latest lighting and LED video technology to bar, restaurant, and nightlife venue owners, managers, and installers. ADJ has a long history of involvement with the Nightclub & Bar Show, and this is set to continue as the event evolves this year to become the Bar & Restaurant Expo. Lighting has a key role to play in the atmosphere creation that is essential to the success of modern hospitality venues and ADJ's range of reliable, versatile, and affordable fixtures is well suited to meet this need. The majority of ADJ fixtures are also ETL approved, providing the peace of mind that they adhere to the strictest safety guidelines, the company says. Installed in a wide variety of bars, restaurants, lounges, and nightclubs throughout the world, ADJ lighting equipment has a proven track record in the industry and the ADJ team has a wealth of experience that they will be ready to share with visitors to the expo. Taking pride of place on the ADJ booth will be the popular Focus Series of moving head luminaires. This comprehensive range of fixtures all offer efficient, long-life LED light sources, making them well suited for installation in nightlife venues. The extremely compact Focus Spot 2X is perfect for small spaces with low ceilings, offering a potent 100W LED and all the essential features required to create an engaging lightshow. For midsize venues, the Focus Spot 4Z is the ideal choice, with its powerful 200W LED engine and extensive feature set. The Focus Spot 5Z utilizes the same light source but packs in additional features, including two frost filters (heavy and light) as well as a Silent Fan mode, making it ideally suited for venues that incorporate a stage. Finally, boasting an impressive 300W LED source and huge feature set, the Focus Spot 6Z is a large and powerful automated lighting fixture designed for larger entertainment venues, the company says. Despite the uncertainty of recent years, ADJ has continued to innovate and expand its product range, including two brand new additions at the top of the Focus Series. Featuring a potent 400W white light LED engine, the Focus Profile is an automated profile fixture with an exhaustive collection of beam-shaping tools. These include four rotating framing shutter blades; full CMY + CTO color mixing; an additional color wheel; two GOBO wheels; two rotating prisms (3-facet and 6-facet); motorized focus, iris and zoom; replaceable (medium) frost filter and an animation wheel. Also on display will be the Focus Wash 400. Combining a potent color mixing LED light engine with a Fresnel lens and motorized zoom mechanism, this professional automated wash fixture creates a versatile soft-edged beam with a high CRI in excess of 90. Its powerful 400W six-in-one LED light source combines red, green, blue, amber, cyan and lime LED chips to offer unrivalled color mixing, while virtual CMY and variable white light color temperature control aid quick and convenient programming. As well as lighting, ADJ is a leading supplier of modular LED video wall solutions. At Bar & Restaurant Expo 2022 its latest "VS" Vision Series panels will be on display, which are designed to offer unparalleled performance, reliability, affordability, and simplicity. Featuring the highest quality LED binning as well as bright, clear output, the VS Series features a variety of panel models each with a different LED pixel pitch. On display at the expo will be the VS2, which offers a 2.97mm pixel pitch (the highest resolution in the range) as well as the VS3IP which is a panel with a 3.84mm pixel pitch and an IP-rated (IP65 - front / IP54 - rear) enclosure which allows it to be used outdoors. Both models feature a high contrast ratio of 5000:1 and impressive brightness (1000 NITS: VS2 / 4500 NITS: VS3IP) and can be combined in multiples to create large screen displays of varying size and aspect ratio to accommodate a venue's specific design and requirements. Also on display at ADJ's Bar & Restaurant Expo booth will be the new Jolt Panel FX and Jolt Bar FX multifunctional wash / strobe / blinder fixtures. Each of these versatile lighting tools feature a central strip of 5W cool white SMD LEDs surrounded on both sides by arrays of 0.3W RGB SMD LEDs arranged into multiple independently controlled zones. This allows the creation of strikingly bright white strobe effects, vibrant color washes and eye-catching chase patterns from the same compact fixture, providing a huge amount of creative potential. ADJ also offers a range of IP65-rated "all weather" fixtures, which feature enclosures sealed from moisture and liquid as well as particulates such as dust, sand, and dirt. These units can be utilized for outdoor patios and terraces but are also proving increasingly popular for indoor use in nightlife venues. With protection from everything -- dust to "champagne showers" -- the fixtures allow for a reduced service schedule and increased operational life that will appeal to busy owners and managers. Examples of these fixtures that will be on display at the show include the Hydro Wash X7, an LED-powered wash moving head with motorized zoom, and the new Encore LP12 IP, a robust wash fixture featuring vibrant 4-in-1 red, green, blue and lime color mixing LEDs. In addition to the ADJ booth, the company's professional lighting products will also be showcased at the official Bar & Restaurant Expo Sports Bar, which will take pride of place at the heart of the expo floor. This experiential bar will allow visitors to discover (and taste!) the newest drinks trends as well as experience the latest in hospitality venue technology. This will include fixtures supplied by ADJ, as one of the bar's official sponsors, providing a practical demonstration of the potential for lighting to enhance the atmosphere of any hospitality venue. ADJ will also be supporting the expo as the Official Video Wall Sponsor, providing a big screen display constructed of Vision Series VS2 LED panels that will welcome visitors as they arrive at the event. "At ADJ we're committed to helping the nightlife industry bounce back!" enthuses ADJ USA's national sales manager, Alfred Gonzales. "As the sector ramps back up following the worldwide pandemic, we're excited to showcase our latest lighting and LED video products to the hospitality industry at the Bar & Restaurant Expo in Las Vegas. In the current climate, it is essential for bars, restaurants, and other nightlife venues to do all they can to stand out from the competition and create an inviting atmosphere for their clientele. At the expo, we look forward to sharing with owners, managers, and installers the new ADJ fixtures that will allow them to do just that. We're also pleased to be able to support the show organizers as the Official Video Wall Sponsor as well as showcase our lighting in action as the Official Lighting Supplier for the expo floor Sports Bar." The Bar & Restaurant Expo 2022 will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Monday March 21 thru Wednesday March 23, with the expo hall open on the Tuesday and Wednesday. At booth #727 the ADJ team will be on hand to demonstrate the company's latest products as well as share advice on the best way to use lighting to enhance a bar or restaurant's customer experience.
