Clearwing Productions Acquires Denver Production CompanyClearwing Productions, a multi-generational family business, announces that it has acquired DSI Event Group in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 1979 as Dowlen Sound, the DSI location joins already existing Clearwing offices in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Phoenix, Arizona. "We are excited to add the DSI Group to the Clearwing family," says Clearwing president and CEO Gregg Brunclik. "Denver was a perfect fit to enhance our current offerings in Milwaukee and Phoenix. Geographically halfway between, Denver will optimize logistical efficiency while bringing yet greater market-share to our already successful multi-regional operations. We're also very fortunate that the professionalism, attitude, integrity, and skill of the DSI staff was a good match with our existing Clearwing culture." Bret Dowlen of DSI Event Group comments, "I'm looking forward to emerging from the complexities of ownership and returning to the principles that are important to me: providing pristine systems with outstanding quality for our clients and continuing to give the hands-on support and superior service our users have come to expect." Immediately, production services and retail sales will be available from Clearwing Productions, Colorado. "In the near future we will be emulating Clearwing's full operational model in Denver to include production, sales, service, and systems integration," says Clearwing COO, Dave Temby. "And we take on a plethora of existing production equipment including sound, lighting, and staging." The acquired inventory includes Martin by Harman and Robe lighting fixtures, MA Lighting grandMA and DiGiCo control, and Outline GTO PA. Clearwing will continue operating out of the 35,000-sq.-ft. facility in Denver with plans to expand in the future.
