Dirty Rigger Redefines the Tool LanyardThe Dirty Rigger developers have been in the thinking shed again, making an awesome tool lanyard for the industry. The company says, "the legends that are the Dirty Rigger community was asking for a way of connecting tools with super-slim loop holes to their lanyards, just like the podger. We'd love to tell you stories of how we travelled the globe in search of the answer, but sometimes those niggling issues just need a simple solution." Cue to the Dirty Rigger screw-fasten mini loop. A 12cm long, super-slim (4mm) steel wire rope that will fit through just about any of those niggly little loop holes and join together with a screw fastener. Pretty cool eh? But the company didn't stop there, oh no! To give the new mini loop justice, Dirty Rigger wanted a whole new lanyard to go with it. The company thought a 128cm (part-coiled to 70cm when unstretched) steel wire rope, fitted with a rated anodized aluminum alloy carabiner clip with captive eye, featuring 360-degree rotation and self-locking mechanism sounded pretty good. And there you have it, a whole load of awesomeness in one lanyard. The new Podger/Tool Lanyard should be ready for an official launch at PLASA 2017 (the company says "should, it's going to be close!"). Come and give it a try at PLASA 2017!
