Kenwood Experiences Wins Prestigious Best Trade Show Booth Award

Square Enix booth at E3 2014

Kenwood Experiences ("KenwoodX"), an award-winning experience marketing agency founded more than 30 years ago in San Francisco, California, has received the BizBash Event Style Award for Best Trade Show Booth. BizBash, the leading source of ideas, news, and resources for event and meeting professionals, presented the award for KenwoodX's exhibit created for video game developer Square Enix and featured at E3 2014 in Los Angeles. The company says "the award demonstrates the power of KenwoodX's innovative and creative strategies, which ensure engaging branded experiences that deliver measurable marketing results."

KenwoodX delivered experiential strategy, channel and content strategy, ideation, pre-visualization, technical planning, and end-to-end project management, fabrication, and production for every facet of the E3 experience. Additionally, KenwoodX brought to life a new broadcast communication channel for Square Enix entitled, "Square Enix Presents." The Square Enix Presents production model, which was envisioned and orchestrated by KenwoodX to deliver E3 content to consumers around the world, included creation and integration of a dedicated production studio, complete production management of six hours of live content per day -- including "behind-the-scenes" content -- in multiple languages, along with metrics, measurement, reporting, and analysis.

The 11,000-sq.-ft. exhibit featured: a highly branded presentation playing continuously in an open air theater on a 32' LED screen; three uniquely-themed presentation theaters; over 40 branded live-game-play kiosks; an ongoing massively-multiplayer-online-role-playing-game (MMORPG) tournament; 12 product-branded meetings rooms; vivid, integrated lighting and audio design; and large-scale corporate branding throughout. More than 48,000 attendees visited the booth over the course of E3.

"The Square Enix booth at E3, with its targeted, personalized, and multi-channel approach, was a triumph for our client," says Daniel Pinkham, president of Kenwood Experiences. "We worked day and night to create a compelling consumer journey that engaged booth visitors along with distant consumers, sparked conversation, and conveyed critically important information and branding messages. This was a powerful demonstration of multi-channel experiential marketing."

In addition to the BizBash Event Style Award for Best Trade Show Booth, KenwoodX has won several other industry awards this year, including the Event Marketer 2015 IT List (Top 100 Agencies), and Event Marketer Gold ExAward for JiveWorld14 - Best Single Market Event.
