Vaddio's Expanding RoboSHOT Camera Line Now Offers HD-SDI with Remote Operation

Vaddio RoboSHOT series

Vaddio announces its latest camera in the RoboSHOT series, the RoboSHOT 12 HD-SDI and RoboSHOT 30 HD-SDI. Available in 12x and 30x optical zoom ranges, the RoboSHOT HD-SDI is equipped with simultaneous HD-SDI and HDMI digital video outputs, and Full HD IP (H.264) streaming capabilities.

Equipped with a built-in PoE+ Gb Ethernet port, the enterprise-class RoboSHOT HD-SDI has the ability to be powered over the PoE+ network or with a PoE+ midspan power injector. The camera's built-in web-server allows for simplistic configuration and control. The user enter the camera's streaming URL into any standards based media player and they can now watch Full HD (1080p) IP stream while controlling the RoboSHOT simultaneously.

"We added the RoboSHOT HD-SDI camera to the mix because our customers are demanding a native HD-SDI PTZ video solution that can handle the complexities of broadcast and live performance applications," explained Ed Ellett, president and CEO of Vaddio. "With smooth, production-quality motion and a full feature set, this camera rivals the best PTZ cameras in the industry."

Available in 12x optical zoom with a 73-degree wide horizontal field of view or 30x optical zoom with 2.3-degree tele end to 65-degree wide end, the RoboSHOT HD-SDI cameras are perfect in most any application including video studios, UC conferencing, house of worship services, large auditorium AV systems, IMAG for performances, large lecture theatres, and more.

Like all RoboSHOT series cameras, the RoboSHOT 12 HD-SDI and RoboSHOT 30 HD-SDI come fully equipped with the latest generation Exmor 1/2.8" 2.38 Megapixel, Full HD, high-speed, low noise CMOS image sensor, an advanced ISP and Vaddio's Tri-Synchronous Motion technology -- a silent, direct-drive motor system that allows all three axes of the camera (pan, tilt, and zoom) to move simultaneously for ultra smooth, natural camera motion.
