Biamp Systems Expands Field Sales Engineering ResourcesBiamp Systems, a provider of innovative, networked media systems, announces the latest addition to its team of global field sales engineers (FSE). Part of Biamp's global sales team, these new positions provide in-depth, specialized technical knowledge to installers, system designers, and consultants during the critical design phase of projects. Geordie Klueber, the newest FSE, will focus on network design with an emphasis in video streaming and the convergence between digital media and traditional IT networks. Mike Cast delivers the expertise needed for emergency communications systems (ECS) design, while Chris Flanagan provides critical VoIP design and integration expertise. "Our industry continues to evolve and Biamp understands the challenges integrators, systems designers, and consultants face and the knowledge required, whether it's with emergency communications, VoIP systems, or the network," said Ron Camden, vice president of global sales at Biamp Systems. "The Field Sales Engineers stand ready to provide targeted, presale design expertise; engage in design stage conversations with customers and their clients; and guarantee Biamp's solutions deliver what the client needs." Klueber brings more than 20 years of enterprise IT industry experience, building and refining his knowledge base and skillset around network technology and distributed systems. Prior to joining Biamp, he was a senior staff architect at IBM and a chief technologist at Sun Microsystems. Flanagan has been with Biamp for 12 years, serving as senior applications engineer before moving into his FSE role. A 15-year industry veteran, Flanagan is an AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS). A 20-year professional AV veteran, Cast held various technical roles for integration, contracting, and specification companies making him ideally suited to support Biamp's ECS business.
