Theatre Projects Opens a Studio in Paris

Theatre Projects has just opened a new studio in Paris. The company says "Stop by to say bonjour anytime." The new studio is located in the Marais, at the heart of Paris.

The studio will be a second European base for the company's planning, design, and equipment services, and it will also be home to the acoustical services. Theatre Projects has offered acoustical services on projects in the past, but this is the first time the company has full-time, in-house acousticians as part of their global team.

The Paris office team is led by Seb Jouan who joins the company from AECOM and Arup and senior acoustician, Victoria Chavez Thielemann, formerly of Xu Acoustique. Having acousticians within the team will allow Theatre Projects to explore and develop design concepts collaboratively in both their London and Paris studios, creating opportunities for innovation and acoustic excellence. They will work with the rest of the team on theatre design projects internationally and will also provide standalone acoustic design services to architects designing sophisticated performance and entertainment spaces.
