Pangolin and Kvant Make Laser Projector Color Calibration Easier than Ever Before Lighting professionals know the importance of ensuring that colors between lighting fixtures must be evenly matched across a given setup. And with laser projectors, the importance of color correction is even more apparent because of the vividness of the light source. In the past, a designer had an idea of what the laser beam should look like when building out a show in software, but found frustration when they ended up with a totally different outcome than expected. All that has changed. Introducing "color balance display mode," a new tool that is featured on ALL new Kvant lasers with FB4 built inside. This innovative new tool will help users quickly, and easily, sync multiple Kvant projectors to perfectly match each other, as well as colors programmed inside the user's laser show software. All lighting professionals, whether the user is working with lasers, or normal lighting fixtures, can now perfectly match all of their lasers, creating a uniform balance across their entire setup, and focus more on controlling the setup from the user's console, PC, or in auto-mode. During the creation of the Kvant projectors, the output colors of every lasers display system is calibrated, and stored inside of the built in FB4's memory. The setting called "color balance display mode," can be recalled by simply pressing the "color balance" button on the back of the laser projector. Not only will this work while using the built in DMX, or Art-Net Interface, but as well with any other control interface plugged into the ILDA connector. The laser system will remember the last setting of the color balance button, which means the user won't have to worry about it next time they switch on the system. The features is a huge help when working with multiple projectors that have different power outputs. A single press of the button on the back of the laser projector on each system, will unify the look among all of the projectors. Whether or not the user decreases the power output of these systems to 50 percent, all of the mixed colors will remained synchronized. The company says "there is no other laser projectors in the field that offers such an easy method of color calibration across multiple lasers in a setup." The color balance display mode not only saves enormous amounts of time during the show setup but will help to produce even more professional shows with ease.
