LMG's 3.9mm LED Captivates Attendees at EMC World 2014LMG, a national provider of video, audio, and lighting support, has added 3.9mm LED tiles to the firm's extensive LED inventory. The high resolution 3.9mm tiles were recently utilized to create a massive LED cube, built as an eye-catching digital signage display for EMC World 2014 event in Las Vegas. EMC World 2014, held at The Venetian in Las Vegas, is the premier educational forum and technology conference for EMC customers, partners, and IT professionals, and hosted over 12,500 attendees in May. LMG has been working with EMC for several years to provide video, audio, lighting, and LED support for the general sessions, breakouts, and exhibit floors. For the 2014 event, LMG's LED team used over 500 3.9mm LED tiles to construct the immense four-sided LED cube, that became a focal point and central hub within the EMC World Village, a lounge and meeting area for attendees outside of the exhibits and sessions. Surrounded by hundreds of bean bag chairs for attendees to lounge and view the content, the cube measured 15' x 23' on each of the sides, and displayed live and recorded content from the keynotes and sessions, as well as schedules and social media feeds. Content for the cube was managed and provided by EMC TV, VDA Productions, Incidium, HB Agency, and Spredfast. LMG's ultra-thin 3.9mm product line provides an extremely high resolution and crisp display, with a 128 x 128 pixel pitch (per tile) for indoor applications, when seeing every detail on the screen matters. Weighing 18.7lb per tile, the 3.9mm LED series offers a standard frame size (500mm x 500mm) for ease of design applications and area calculations, and was built for faster assembly time installation, saving on time and expenses during event setup. "When you walked into the EMC World Village, the cube was simply a 'WOW' factor, and the 3.9mm LED tiles were a perfect solution to create this stunning, high-resolution display," states Les Goldberg, president/CEO of LMG. "We have been fortunate to work with the EMC team for several years on this event, and pleased to offer the latest tools in our arsenal to support their creative visions."
