ETC Names David Lincecum as New Vice President of MarketingETC has promoted David Lincecum to be the vice president of the company's marketing department. With two decades of service to ETC -- most recently as the product marketing manager -- Lincecum is now expanding his role in the marketing efforts of the global lighting and rigging manufacturer. In his new role as vice president, Lincecum will oversee the global marketing operations of ETC, while supporting the dozens of ETC marketing employees around the world. "I have 'grown up' at ETC," says Lincecum, "and I am honored to be trusted with leading the smart, creative, and hardworking people in the marketing group. The entertainment technology industry can expect a lot from ETC over the next few years, and I am thrilled to be stepping into this position at time of such significant change and growth here." Lincecum earned a bachelor of arts in theatre from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1987, and a master of fine arts from Tulane University in 1990. After completing his education, he gained experience working as a lighting designer and assistant lighting designer. In 1992, he cofounded lighting dealership Stagelight, Inc., in Houston, Texas. Lincecum officially joined ETC in 1994, relocating to Los Angeles, California, to work as a field project coordinator. The following year, he became the western regional sales manager. He was instrumental in growing ETC's sales and developing the rep and dealer network in the western United States. Then in 2003, Lincecum transferred to ETC's headquarters in Middleton, Wisconsin, to take on a new position as product marketing manager. Since then, he has played a significant role in organizing ETC's overall product strategy and developing a strong product management team.
