ADJ Announces New Aggressor HEX LED and Vertigo HEX LED

It's been more than two decades since ADJ launched its landmark "Aggressor" and "Vertigo," two electrifying sound-active beam effects that changed the face of club/DJ lighting forever. The two classic effects have gone on to become some of the most popular products in the company's history.

Now ADJ is introducing the Aggressor HEX LED and Vertigo HEX LED. Both of these new, upgraded versions feature the company's six-in-one HEX LED technology, in which six different colored diodes (red, green, blue, cyan, amber, and white) are combined into one LED source.

Containing two high-power 12W six-in-one HEX LEDs each, the Aggressor HEX LED and Vertigo HEX LED offer more color options and much more intensely bright beams than the originals. Sound-active effects like their predecessors, they emit a shower of colorful beams that will move and gyrate across dance floors, walls, and ceilings to the beat of the music, producing high-energy lighting excitement at any club, gig, or event.

With no external controller required, the Aggressor HEX LED and Vertigo HEX LED are easy to set up and operate as simple plug-and-play effects. Each fixture comes equipped with 60 built-in sound reactions that move to the beat of the music, offering a variety of visual activity and color-changing effects.

Portability and affordability are other features that have remained unchanged. Compact and lightweight, the Aggressor HEX LED measures 13"L x 12.5"W x 12.5"H /330 x 316 x 316mm, and weighs 10lb /4.2kg.

The Vertigo HEX LED measures 13.75"L x 10.75"W x 11.75"H /345 x 272 x 294mm, and weighs 7lb /2.75kg.

Featuring multi-voltage operation (AC 100V-240V, 50/60 Hz), the Aggressor HEX LED and Vertigo HEX LED can be used in multiples to cover larger areas. Both fixtures include IEC AC in/out on the rear panel to daisy chain power for up to 10 units at 120V and 15 units at 240V.

Another advantage the company notes of the Aggressor HEX LED and Vertigo HEX LED is lower maintenance and greater energy efficiency. The HEX LEDs have a long 50,000 life, so they rarely need replacing. Each unit draws just 30W of power at maximum use.
