Harvest Ministries Boasts First Harman Martin M6 Console Installation, WorldwideHarman's Martin newly released M6 console has found its first permanent home, installed at Harvest Ministries in Riverside, California. When the house's original Martin Maxxyz console began to show its age after a long and prosperous run, in-house lighting designer Christopher Eguizabal began searching for an upgraded console to keep up with the constant stream of ever-changing events, varied lighting rigs, and stage designs. "The week we installed the M6, we had a guest artist playing and I was able to use it in a concert-style environment here at our venue," Eguizabal stated. "The console's encoder knobs made programming much easier and faster than I have experienced on any other console. M6's touch screens feel great and the amount of playback faders, combined with the play pairs and submaster module, plus the amount of user-definable buttons, allows me to customize my console exactly how I want. Programming and operating the M6 is incredibly fluid and free." Based on the M-Series software by Martin, M6 provides users the ultimate control surface for fast programming and extensive playback control. The console is designed to control everything from conventional and moving lights to the most advanced media server, meeting the demands of today's venue's high-intensity visual needs. Harvest Ministries recently installed a 37' by 8' LED video wall across the back of its main stage, where a Martin Maxedia server and the M6 easily handle the lighting and video cues through its intuitive interface. "We are incredibly pleased with the purchase of our M6 and look forward to many years of fun and creative programming," Eguizabal continued. "Being more than just a lighting console is what makes the M6 an incredible tool for our venue, especially having our lighting and visual media content integrated through our Maxedia media server. Not only has the M6 made our transition into a new console smooth, but the performance also provides us with the power we need to put on exciting shows."
