Artistic Licence Engineering Showcases Multi-Play Rack at ISE 2013At Integrated Systems Europe January 29-31 in Amsterdam, RAI, Artistic Licence Engineering will be demonstrating Multi-Play Rack, a lighting show record-playback unit with outstanding memory capacity and Ethernet protocol versatility in stand 8-R232. Multi-Play Rack is a disk-based product that allows a show programmer to record up to 12 universes on any lighting console running Art-Net, then play-back through pretty much anything, the company says, thanks to the product's multiple protocol support, which includes Art-Net, ShowNet, KiNet and sACN. Output protocols can be selected on a per universe basis for even greater flexibility. Multi-Play Rack incorporates an auto-stitch feature that allows a recording to be automatically edited for a seamless continuous loop. It can also playback multiple overlapping files in different, user-programmed zones. The product offers advanced triggering functionality, with the option to use Art-Net macros or calendar-based commands. The macros allow Multi-Play Rack to be easily integrated into a larger networked show control system, or simply triggered by products such as Artistic Licence's Mica. The calendar system enables single or repeat programs to be pre-scheduled, with options to specify any combination of time, day or date, including groupings such as weekday or weekend. Multi-Play Rack is configured via a user-friendly web browser interface. Simple yet sophisticated, according to the company the intuitive web browser configuration unlocks huge potential for remote management and monitoring via Internet access. Multi-Play Rack is presented in a 2U rack mount enclosure.
