Lycian Stage Lighting Introduces Two New ModelsLycian Stage Lighting announces availability of its newest models, the 1239 Clubspot 7.5 and ZOT line. The ZOTS and Clubspot 7.5 have gone into production following a successful unveiling at the LDI show in October. All available for immediate shipping. The 1239 Clubspot 7.5, utilizing a 750W GLD lamp as its light source is far brighter than the 1238 Super Clubspot it replaces and offers control conveniences versus the also now discontinued Midget II. The Clubspot 7.5 has a 3,200K color temperature and flicker free beam. Optics have been improved with the inclusion of condenser optics which yields a much flatter beam. Controls include a heavy- duty nichrome iris, horizontal trim shutters, and mechanical fader. An internal manual six color boomerang is included as well as gobo slot. The ZOT line consists of four followspots all built on the same platform. All use "bayonet style" laps making for lamp changes in seconds. Models include a 1,200W Tungsten, and 575W, 700W, and 1,200W arc. The ZOTS feature self-cancelling, internal six-color boomerangs, an innovative spot size controller, rear fader control, fine focus knob, and new "forward lean" yoke for extreme downward tilt. "The 1239 Clubspot 7.5 is a continued evolution in bringing better overall optical quality to the economy minded buyer," said Steve Lerman, Lycian Stage Lighting director of sales, "while the ZOT line allows for a followspot to be offered in a market that didn't have American products at a sensitive price point.
