SAVI with d&b at Plasa Focus: StamfordPLASA Focus: Stamford saw d&b audiotechnik share booth 224 with leading audio consultants and installation partner SAVI. "These regionally targeted exhibitions embody the d&b democratic approach," said the company's head of marketing in the US, Roger Keim. "Every visitor has the opportunity for a direct, hands on look at elements of the d&b product range, and can spend valuable face time with our partner. The team at SAVI has a long term relationship with d&b that is highly valued, and they have vast experience of implementing d&b systems." SAVI took the lead role on products, exhibiting elements from the small yet powerful d&b T-Series; the T10 is a two-way passive line array module with a wide 105-degree horizontal dispersion making it ideal for difficult to cover smaller rooms, the company says. The T10 has a tool-free rotatable horn assembly enabling it to be used individually as a stand-alone point source cabinet giving 90- by 45-degree coverage. SAVI also featured two examples from the ultra compact d&b E-Series, namely the E4 and E5. Both are small two-way passive loudspeaker cabinets with four- and five-inch LF drivers respectively, with a coaxially-mounted, high-performance dome tweeter producing a precise 100-degree conical coverage. Mike Weirich, general manager at SAVI was enthused by the exhibition, "We at SAVI thought the PLASA Focus event was the perfect stage to set up camp for a couple of days and shake hands with those who really want to know more about our company. This event is exactly what we are about; client focus and the establishment of personal relationships that otherwise get swallowed up during large format trade shows. It means a great deal to us to further showcase our relationship with d&b audiotechnik, bringing 'Democracy for Listeners' to the forefront in the audio landscape."
