Fohhn Presents New Concert Sound Products and Acoustic Simulation Software at Prolight + Sound 2019 At this year's Prolight + Sound, South German audio manufacturer Fohhn introduces new additions to its comprehensive concert sound system. These include a full range of accessories for the Focus Venue line array system, new DSP amplifiers, and a new 18" subwoofer. A further highlight is the new in-house developed, web-based acoustic simulation software -- Fohhn Designer. Focus Venue, Fohhn's modular beam steering system for concert sound applications, is rounded off with a full range of touring accessories. In addition to a transport dolly and matching covers for several speaker modules, a new rain cover, a connection panel rain cover and a flying frame with 1,300kg load capacity are now available. There will also be new accessory products for Fohhn's PT-70 plug and play system -- including a wheel board and a double case with separately removable covers and a large interior. Fohhn's new PS-800 makes a Frankfurt debut: the flyable 18" subwoofer is extremely flexible and suitable for use in horizontal, vertical, or endfired bass arrays, as well as in cardioid setups. Show visitors can also take a first look at two new DSP-controlled CLASS D amplifiers with four by 2,000W and two by 4,000W power capabilities. As with all Fohhn DI-Series amplifiers, the new DI-4.2000 and DI-2.4000 models offer comprehensive DSP input and output processing, along with high levels of connectivity and operational reliability. Another new product is Fohhn's MA-4.100 Media DSP matrix amplifier. This compact digital amplifier with integrated 4 x 4 matrix has been specially developed for media applications and small-scale sound reinforcement. It is equipped with four switchable analog line / microphone inputs. With Fohhn Designer, Fohhn presents new software that enables precise simulations with all Fohhn systems taking the room acoustics into account. This online acoustic simulator delivers speedy results for all kinds of sound reinforcement -- whether in arenas or concert halls. As last year, show visitors can also experience the Focus Venue beam steering system live in outdoor area 10.0 (A19) at Messe Frankfurt. From April 2 - 5, Fohhn looks forward to welcoming visitors to Stand D60 in Hall 8 at Prolight + Sound.
