Take the Coemar LEDko ChallengeWhite Light and Coemar are teaming up to offer the prize of six LEDko units for those needing to retrofit their outdated lighting package. The competition, in which entrants submit a video or storyboard of their current lighting package, will be launched at PLASA Focus: Leeds today, April 17. The entry that is deemed most in need of, or having faced the biggest issues in their lighting, will be awarded the prize at the PLASA Show in September. Entrants are encouraged to explain how the Coemar products will benefit their facility or venue in their day-to-day use. The lighting package being offered for the winning entrant includes: Coemar's Reflection LEDko FullSpectrum, Reflection LEDko VariWhite 3,000/7,000K, and Reflection LEDko White 3,200K with an option of one the following optics: Reflection Soft profile 12-30 degree F lens, Reflection Soft profile 12-30 degree PC lens, or Profile zoom 18-40 degree HD lens. The Reflection LEDko FullSpectrum is a multi-LED light source producing a uniform beam with no pixels or dots and with spectrum color mixing and all whites from 3,200K to 9,000K and digital color filters. The Reflection LEDko VariWhite 3,000/7,000K features color temperature control, proportional from 3,000K to 7,000K. The Reflection LEDko White 3,200K offers fixed 3,200K white light output. The winner will be announced September 9, 2012 at the PLASA show in London. The competition is open to all staging, studio, installation, and corporate theatre professionals and amateurs throughout the UK.
