Drape Kings, Glamour Collaborate on Product Reveal

Drape Kings collaborated with Glamour magazine on the unveiling of the Glamour Apothecary Wall, created in partnership with the apothecary chain C.O. Bigelow. Drape Kings contributed a Kabuki drop reveal to the event..

Drape Kings provided 16' of its12' high Black Encore drape to conceal the wall from the crowd. The 22oz drape hung from six Kabuki cells surrounded by 70' of Drape Kings' Black Event Carpet. The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured host Bill Wackermann, executive VP and publishing director of Glamour as well as Ian Ginsberg, president of C.O. Bigelow, model Petra Nemcova, and Beauty Sweet Spot blogger Jeannine Morris. Drape Kings' pewter stanchions, linked with Black Velour rope, helped to hold back the crowd of enthusiastic shoppers.

As the shiny ribbon was cut, Drape Kings' Black Velour cascaded downward to reveal the shopping wall. The glowing screen, populated with product photos from C.O. Bigelow, Elizabeth Arden Prevage, and personal care products such as Dove Visible Care body washes, utilized SpyderLynk's Snaptag technology to allow shoppers to point, scan, and order their favorite products for home delivery.
