Spain Debuts the First European E15 System from Adamson Spain became the first testing ground for the new Adamson Project Energia Beta launch. Adamson distributor Seesound, together with gear provider Fluge, arranged the first E15 system in Europe to premiere at the Low Cost Festival in Benidorm, Spain featuring Mika and Ok GO! Among others. The festival was held at the end of July. Now ready for a full tour, Fluge is putting the E15s to the test with the Spanish metal band Los Marea. Los Marea has eight full-length albums, as well a "best-of" album released in 2007. The group's current single, "En mi Hambre Mando Yo," maintains its #2 position on the Spanish charts for the second week since its release. The tour begins in Arnedo, in La Rioja province on November 5, and finishes the year on December 30 in Madrid, starting up again on January 14 in Zaragoza. It then continues to Argentina, Chile, and Colombia in February 2012. El Grupo Industrias Orquestales, the parent company of Fluge, is a leader in the Spanish live production market and falls within the top 10 most important full service production companies in Europe. With over 20 years of experience, the group consists of about 150 employees, and their warehouse houses the world's most up to date equipment as the inventory is in constant renewal, with latest offerings from many manufacturers, including Adamson. The company was founded in 1990 and it focused mainly on the sound production of live performances under the name of Fluge. It soon established itself as a benchmark in the sector and began a rapid expansion. The creation of Light CR followed shortly after, providing lighting and visual effects services. In 2000 ASL Light Solutions joined the group, forming the current business structure. In 2009, after providing lighting equipment, sound and video for all the official forums for the Expo Zaragoza, the Orchestral Industries Group established new headquarters in Barcelona and Zaragoza, becoming the official supplier of exhibition centers in both cities. Nacho Alberdi, the company's CEO, and his technical team have since steadily increased Adamson's market share in Spain both in touring and in the Installations sectors. Alberdi comments: "My admiration for Adamson systems began long ago. After seeing Adamson build their own Kevlar drivers and growing their line with the launches of SpekTrix and Metrix series, I was sure that Adamson was the right choice. After three years of working together, we have positioned Adamson systems as a standard for all audio professionals in Spain wanting to move to the next level. When I listened to the first prototypes of what would later become the Project Energia, I knew right away that it would be a future bench-mark for big tours and the pro-audio industry. This summer we listened to the beta system at the Low Cost Festival, with the British artist Mika performing, and our expectations were absolutely surpassed."
