Duran Audio to Showcase New Products at PLASA Show

Duran Audio will be show the latest AXYS iOS software at PLASA 2011 September 11-14, Earls Court, London. There are two apps currently available from the Apple App Store.

The Control App is designed as a tool for sound system engineers to use when setting up an AXYS loudspeaker system and the pre-sets app is designed to offer a simple and easy way of re-calling system pre-sets from an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPAD. All AXYS self-powered loudspeakers come with an on-board DSP and have the ability to store eight pre-sets (snapshots), which can be recalled from WinControl or the Pre-sets app. Making the pre-sets app is ideal for "caretaker" operated systems, the company says.

The latest loudspeaker products from the AXYS R&D lab are the Flex U-12G2, U-14G2 and UFM-265. Both the U-12 and U-14 as well as the UFM-265 are fitted with built-in amplification and a powerful DSP and are network-ready, so the units can be easily controlled and configured from the AXYS WinControl software. The U-12 consists of a 6.5" driver and a soft dome tweeter while the U-14 and UFM-265 features an additional 6.5" driver.

You can find AXYS by Duran Audio on Stand G4 in Earl's Court 1. On the booth will be AXYS products for a wide range of applications, anything from Road Tunnels to Concert Halls. Representatives from Duran Audio UK and Duran Audio BV will be on the booth.
