Liberty Appoints Tony Carr as New Southwestern Territory Manager Liberty AV Solutions has named Tony Carr as its new Southwestern territory manager. An industry veteran who comes to the post from Samsung Electronics, Carr will assist in directing Liberty's sales efforts in Southern California, Arizona, Southern Nevada, and Hawaii. Reporting directly to Liberty's director of Western regional sales David Ellis, Carr will work hand-in-hand with the company's independent manufacturer's reps to serve customers throughout his territory. As the latest addition to an overall sales force reorganization that began last year, he will be supported by a team of inside sales associates that brings an even broader base of specialized knowledge and resources to those in the field. "Customers have an inherent right to expect high levels of service," Carr believes. "To that end, it's great to be a part of the Liberty sales team; because we are focused and committed to improving the customer experience and helping dealers increase their revenues and profits." While with Samsung, Carr was a senior national sales manager who guided the sales team, collaborated with factory engineers and marketing to develop and launch new products, and managed multiple channels of distribution. Prior to his work with Samsung, he was Sharp's director of sales, professional display division from 1998 - 2008. From 1994 - 1998, he served as a regional government, education, and major accounts manager for Toshiba America. He began his career in 1988 with Konica USA as a district sales manager. A graduate of Arizona State University, he will make Chino Hills, California his home base for operations on behalf of Liberty.
