Draper Announces New Screens for Large Venues (Large venues require large solutions, and Draper, Inc., has added several products designed to meet projection needs for large venues or auditoriums. The StageScreen is Draper's fixed, hanging solution for large venues. The modular 8" truss allows you to build multiple sizes of screen from a common inventory of frame pieces. Frame sections are connected with permanently attached threaded links and guide pins. StageScreen features a new viewing surface attachment method. Using the attached DuraLoop bungee cord loops with handy nylon pull-tabs, simply hook the surface to the posts on the frame. There are no hinges, snaps, or handy cranks required. Standard sizes up to more than 59' wide are available. Draper's newly redesigned Scissor Lift SLX projector lift offers up to 32' of drop and holds projectors up to 348lbs. With "store, service, and show" positions, the new design also provides simplified installation with greater field adjustability. Despite the increased drop, Draper's patented three-scissor system provides support you won't find in competitive lift products, the company says.
