Two Notes Brings World Class Speaker/Mic Emulator Technology to US

The Torpedo VM-202

With what it says is the world's most advanced and accurate speaker and miking emulation technology, Two Notes Engineering, of Montpelier, France, will be exhibiting its Torpedo VB-101 and Torpedo VM-202 emulators to NAMM 2011.

Distributed in the USA and Canada by Diffusion Audio Inc., Two Notes Torpedo emulators are designed for a range of live performance and studio recording applications. Proprietary technology allows real-time variation of the virtual microphone positioning, just like having a studio assistant move the microphone in the tracking room.

Torpedo VB-101 connects directly to the speaker output of the user's favorite guitar or bass amplifier. The Torpedo VM-202 accepts line input and features dual mono or stereo cabinet/miking emulations and offers optional power amp emulation for use with guitar preamps. Used by musicians, producers, sound engineers, and production managers worldwide, the Two Notes Torpedo emulators feature over 30 cabinets and eight popular microphones for both the guitar and bass.

At this year's show, Two Notes Engineering will debut two new products for digital audio workstations. The company can be found at NAMM at Booth #D2587.
